Alui wanted to exploit the new EU directive for all EU companies to submit their corporate accounts in a European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). Being iXBRL consultants Alui wanted to discover how they could pick up ESEF related business in Europe.
The Strategy
The strategy was identified to develop their organic rankings for ESEF related keywords by focusing on developing some additional pages and content and to create some additional landing pages to combine with a Google Ads Campaign. Careful attention was paid to Titles, keyword densities and backlinks for the additional content and a region based Google Ads campaign was rolled out to cover different countries as they started to implement the EU directive. The campaign included responsive display ads, call extensions, site link extensions, location extensions, text ads, and remarking ads and in multiple languages.
The campaign has been highly successful in establishing Alui as a leading provider of supporting European organisations to submit their accounts in the new format. The Google Ads campaigns had some amazing resulting with over 7% conversion rates for some ads and this leading to significant increase in requests for quotations. Having landing pages that also offered webinars proved a particular success.
